Le Triton Gourmand, a charming brasserie that offers a unique dining experience while overlooking a swimming pool, wanted to refresh its online presence. The restaurant, known for its warm and friendly atmosphere, traditional Belgian dishes, and lighter international cuisine, aimed to create a website that reflected its inviting environment and showcased its diverse offerings.
Their key requirements for the new website included:

Brussels Life Web Services (BWS) crafted a bespoke website for Le Triton Gourmand that brought together the brasserie’s traditional charm and the functionality of a modern website. Our solution focused on improving both the visual appeal and user experience while ensuring the site met the restaurant’s operational needs.
  1. A Welcoming, Modern Design: We designed a clean and engaging website that reflected the ambiance of Le Triton Gourmand—a friendly, casual brasserie where visitors can enjoy great food in a relaxing atmosphere. The color scheme and imagery were carefully selected to evoke warmth and hospitality, featuring high-quality photos of the restaurant, its dishes, and the swimming pool, which is a unique aspect of their offering.
  2. The UI was kept simple yet effective, with intuitive navigation across the main pages, allowing visitors to easily find the food menu, beverages, and events. The UX design ensured that customers could browse effortlessly, no matter what device they used.
  3. Detailed Menu Display: To meet the client’s request for a comprehensive menu display, we created dedicated pages for both Plats (Food Menu) and Boissons (Beverages Menu). These sections were designed to highlight the variety of dishes offered at Le Triton Gourmand:
    • The Food Menu section showcased the brasserie’s traditional Belgian dishes alongside lighter, more casual fare. Each dish was presented with appetizing images and detailed descriptions, making it easy for users to browse and get a sense of the offerings before visiting.
    • The Beverages Menu was equally detailed, featuring a variety of drinks, from local Belgian beers to a curated selection of wines and soft drinks. Customers could view the full range of beverages with ease.
  4. Both menus were designed to be visually appealing and user-friendly, ensuring that visitors had a seamless browsing experience. Additionally, we included an option for users to download the menu for offline viewing, catering to those planning larger gatherings or special occasions.
  5. Event Listings: Le Triton Gourmand hosts regular events, and the client needed a dynamic way to display and update these activities. We developed an Events section that allowed the brasserie to list down upcoming events, including dining experiences, special menus, and family-oriented activities.
